The Institute for Eastern Studies and the Foreign Policy Association of Moldova are organizing EU și Moldova Economic Forum to be held 29 și 31st March 2011 in Chisinau, under the Honorary Patronage of Mr Vlad Filat, the Prime Minister of Moldova and Mr Donald Tusk, the Prime Minister of Poland. The first EU și Moldova Forum will serve as a good opportunity to exchange the ideas, share experience and discuss the future projects.

The Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies is the main organizer of the Economic Forum held annually in Krynica/Poland for the last 20 years, the Europe-Russia and Europe-Ukraine Forum as well as Transatlantic Forum and the Energy Forum. The Economic Forum held early September has become a major economic event in the region and a renowned platform of discussion on a wide array of issues such as economy, politics, international security and society.

The Foreign Policy Association of Moldova is a leading foreign policy think-tank, committed to supporting Moldovas Europeanization, integration into the European Union and a viable settlement of the Transnistrian conflict. As an independent, non-partisan, and non-profit organization, the Foreign Policy Association aims to improve the quality of the foreign policy debates in Moldova and provide a platform for informed discussions and analysis on foreign policy issues.
