International Conference “Transnistrian Settlement: Quo Vadis?”
Chisinau, Hotel Radisson Blu Leogrand, Begonia Hall
24 November 2016

For more than 12 years the Foreign Policy Association has been engaged in projects aiming to facilitate the political dialogue between Moldovan authorities and Transnistrian administration by promoting confidence building measures and sector cooperation. We do believe that the role of the civil society is to identify and implement new solutions for overcoming challenges that impede the practical cooperation between the two banks of the Nistru River by exploiting international expertise.

In this context, the Foreign Policy Association of Moldova has the pleasure to invite all interested experts, officials and diplomats to attend the International Conference “Transnistrian Settlement: Quo Vadis?”. The draft agenda is attached.

The event will take place on November 24th, 2016, Chisinau, Hotel Radisson Blu Leogrand, Begonia Hall, with the kind support of the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation of the German Marshall Fund.

The aim of the conference is to debate the challenges and obstacles that hinder the political resolution of the Transnistrian conflict in the current regional context.

We would kindly ask you to confirm your participation to our colleague Ms. Victoria Bucataru, programme director with the APE at: victoria.bucataru@ape.md or/and office@ape.md.
